PENGARUH PEMANFAATAN SIMPUS TERHADAP EFIENSI PELAYANAN ADMINISTRASI RAWAT JALAN DI PUSKESMAS JAGIR SURABAYA

Abstract

The use of the Community Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS) is part of the digital transformation of primary healthcare services, aimed at improving the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and quality of patient data management. Jagir Community Health Center in Surabaya is a healthcare facility owned by the Surabaya City Government that has implemented an information system to support administrative and healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze the effect of SIMPUS utilization on the efficiency of outpatient administrative services at Jagir Community Health Center, Surabaya. A descriptive-analytical study was conducted using secondary data, service standard documents, community satisfaction surveys, and literature related to healthcare digitalization. The results showed that SIMPUS utilization can accelerate patient data retrieval and validation, reduce repetitive documentation, integrate service information, and support queue management and medical record systems. The service waiting time decreased from 62.4 minutes before digitalization to 38.7 minutes after digitalization, representing a reduction of 23.7 minutes (p<0.001). These findings indicate that SIMPUS contributes to improving the efficiency of outpatient administrative services.high public satisfaction can't be directly taken as causal proof that SIMPUS is the sole factor improving efficiency. It's necessary to measure service times, staff workload, input error rates, and compare before and after using SIMPUS to prove the impact quantitatively.
