Peer Review Process

Jurnal Medicare, ISSN 2828-352X (media online) applies a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of published manuscripts.

Initial Evaluation

All manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editor within 3 weeks for scope, originality, methodology, ethical requirements, plagiarism, and compliance with the journal guidelines. Manuscripts that do not meet the requirements may be rejected at this stage.

Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass initial screening are reviewed by 2–3 qualified reviewers. The review process generally takes up to 8 weeks.

Reviewers evaluate:

• originality, research gap, and scientific contribution;
• methodological rigor;
• ethical compliance and ethical clearance, where applicable;
• clarity of results and conclusions;
• quality of discussion and relevant references.

Revision and Decision

Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may be re-reviewed when necessary.

The editor makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations and editorial policies:

Accept | Minor Revision | Major Revision | Reject

Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and disclose any conflict of interest. Generative AI must not be used to process or evaluate confidential manuscripts.

The final editorial decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or authorized editor.
