Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) is a crucial part of maintaining patient safety and the quality of hospital services. One effort to prevent nosocomial infections is to ensure that the sterilization of medical devices is carried out in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). However, in practice, healthcare workers are still found to have not fully complied with established procedures. This study aims to identify the level of healthcare workers' compliance with the sterilization SOPs in the CSSD Unit and to identify possible improvements. The methods used include observation, interviews, and analysis using the Multiple Criteria Utility Assessment (MCUA) method and fishbone diagrams. The analysis results indicate that the lack of compliance and the lack of optimal implementation of SOPs by healthcare workers is not yet optimal. This is influenced by several factors such as a lack of understanding of the procedures, work habits that do not meet standards, and a lack of reminders regarding the sterilization stages. As an improvement effort, an innovation was made in the form of a visual media in the form of a poster of the SOP for sterilization of medical devices, which was displayed in the CSSD Unit. This media aims to make it easier for staff to remember and implement the sterilization stages according to applicable procedures.
